Small Stone Clone - Done

The Small Stone/Piedrita pedal is done.  (Finally).

Here's the gut shot.  I made a goof in that I didn't allow quite enough room to fit a battery.  I'll be running it on my pedalboard, so that's not such a big deal, but a battery would have been nice.

This was an exercise in packaging.  All along I thought I'd have tons of room.  But the board itself is fairly large and it took some thought to get a decent clean layout.

And now for the real unveiling.

I dub thee Hurricane!  I tweaked the feedback setting (aka Whoosh) so that when it's cranked up to max intensity, it squeals a tiny bit.  More of a noisemaker setting than anything, but there you have it.  That whooshy, ringing, swirly sound was the inspiration for the name.

The real irony is that as I was finishing this pedal up, and after I came up with the name, we were being hit with Hurricane Irene.  Irony, or karma?

It sounds just like my old v 1.0 Small Stone, except that I have no volume drop, and I can vary the "Color" feedback.

Lots of other projects in the queue - I need to get moving on them.
