Azaleas Blooming At The Crawfish Homestead

It's springtime and the azaleas are in bloom here at the Bayou (aka the Crawfish Homestead).

There are about 56 (!) azalea plants throughout the yard.  I didn't plant them - they were already here.

In fact, the listing for the house said they were "specimen" azaleas.  Basically it means a display of them.

More of 'em.

Like Nuts, they seem to be everywhere.

Too bad they only last for a few weeks.  I find azaleas to be rather unattractive when they're not blooming.

I think the purple/lavender might be my favorite color.
