While I was periodically waiting for the paint to dry (literally) on the baritone ukulele project, I was able to wire up the germanium fuzz face clone I started a while back. Now that the uku is off the bench, I finished the wiring and fired it up.
The picture here is before I put the transistors in. You can see part of the good news - which is it turns on and off. It also passes signal in the bypass mode.
But there is no signal in the "on" mode. I also can't quite bias Q2 properly. I suspect I may have oriented the transistors wrong (backward), but I'm not 100% sure. I need to troubleshoot. I bet it's something easy (he says hopefully).
