After the spackling, I sanded with 150 grit paper and started painting.
You know the drill.
Drill...ha ha. I have to make a mark for the top screw for the door hinge. Then just drill a pilot hole and put a screw in to hang the door on.
The shape of the guide hole reminds me of
Goldfish crackers. Mmmmm Goldfish. I like the parmesan ones the best.
Can you believe there is a
Wikipedia page devoted to them?
Another slightly off-kilter angle. This is the top beam after I repainted it. Looks a whole lot better than before.
Don't point that thing at me! I'm always dangerous with a caulk gun. The plan is to caulk, then hang the door.
