Tonepad Piedrita Phaser - Pt 2 - It Lives!

So, I finished up the off-board connections - soldered some and used jumpers for some, and it works!

Actually, a disclaimer.  I made two minor goofs:  I wired the input jack backward so it was actually shorting itself out, and I forgot to put the ICs on the board!  With those two things corrected, I connected a battery and it came to life

It sounds exactly like my vintage Small Stone.  It might actually sound better - the dark 'color' setting seems to be a lot more useful than on my original.

I was careful during assembly and it paid off.  I didn't even want to think about having to troubleshoot this board.

Next up:  figuring out a layout and trying some mods.  It does have the famous (dreaded?) volume drop.  It's not too bad, but it is there.
