Masking off the neck

In keeping with our wacky plan, we need to mask the neck off so the nice shiny clear nitro lacquer winds up only on the headstock and the fingerboard. I decided to try and make a tidy "V" just below the headstock. Just doing a stripe across the neck would be ugly, methinks.

For the side, I figured laquering the board just to the line of the fret tangs would look good. To paraphrase the legendary Buckocaster, I'm making this up as I go along. This could be a disaster or not, we shall see, shall we not?
